Our competitor, Krzysztof Malecki, was awarded the Gdansk Sailing Lions Award in the category “Sailor of the Year”. This is a distinction for sailors and organizations awarded by the City of Gdansk, and the role of the Chapter is played by the Gdansk sailing clubs.

The member of our team was appreciated for this year’s achievements. Especially for the Polish Match Racing Championship in the crew of Łukasz Wosiński and taking second place in the Polish Sailing Extraclass (starting under the flag of Yacht Club Gdańsk), where the winner was responsible for the helm during all rounds.

The official announcement of the results of this year’s edition took place on 23 December. Due to the current pandemic situation, the ceremony was broadcast online.

Although there is only one award, we would also like to distinguish another resident of Gdańsk from the ranks of HRM Racing, who was also a part of both teams, who achieved the above mentioned successes – Mateusz Błażejak.
